Student athletic trainers earn TSATA Academic All-State honors

May 14, 2025—Five CFISD student athletic trainers from two high schools were named to the 2024-2025 Texas State Athletic Trainers’ Association (TSATA) Academic All-State Team.   

Student athletic trainers who earned all-state honors met the following requirements:

  • be graduating seniors
  • possess an overall grade-point average of 92 including grades 9-11 and in the first six weeks of their senior year
  • be in good standing as athletic training students at the nominating trainer’s high school
  • possess good moral character

The following CFISD student trainers qualified for the 2024-2025 TSATA Academic All-State Team:

  • Audrey Smith, Bridgeland High School
  • Jazelle Murillo, Bridgeland High School
  • Taylor Haizlip, Bridgeland High School
  • Maryam Al Shummary, Cypress Woods High School
  • Thyanna Ho, Cypress Woods High School
