The Bridgeland High School softball team defeated Klein Oak in a best-of-three series to become region quarterfinal champions. The Bears advance to the region semifinal to play Waco Midway in a best-of-three series beginning at 6:30 p.m. on May 16 at Caldwell High School.

May 14, 2024—The Bridgeland High School softball team advanced past the region quarterfinal round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and moves on to the region semifinal round later this week.

Bridgeland defeated Klein Oak in a best-of-three series by the scores of 6-0, 3-5 and 15-6. The Bears advance to play Waco Midway in a best-of-three series at Caldwell High School (550 County Road 307):

• Game 1 – 6:30 p.m. on May 16;
• Game 2 – 6:30 p.m. on May 17; and
• Game 3, if necessary – 1 p.m. on May 18.

Tickets will be $5 apiece (adults and students) and will be sold online through Caldwell ISD.
