The Bridgeland High School softball team defeated Tomball in a best-of-three series to become bi-district champions. The Bears advance to play Conroe in a best-of-three series beginning at 6 p.m. on May 2 at Tomball Memorial High School.
April 30, 2024—The Bridgeland High School softball team advanced past the bi-district round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and moves forward to the area round this week.
Bridgeland defeated Tomball in a best-of-three series by the scores of 12-0 and 4-2. The Bears advance to face Conroe in a best-of-three series at Tomball Memorial High School (19100 Northpointe Ridge Lane):
- Game 1 – 6 p.m. on May 2;
- Game 2 – 1 p.m. on May 4; and
- Game 3, if necessary – 3 p.m. on May 4.
Tickets for Bridgeland will be $5 a piece (adults and students) and will be sold online.
Langham Creek High School ended its season with a 5-2 loss to Waller. The Lobos were District 16-6A’s second seed and bi-district finalists.
Cypress Woods High School ended its season with a best-of-three series loss to Klein Collins by the scores of 11-3 and 5-3. The Wildcats were District 16-6A’s third seed and bi-district finalists.
Cypress Ranch High School ended its season with a best-of-three series loss to Klein Oak by the scores of 11-8 and 15-13. The Mustangs were District 16-6A’s fourth seed and bi-district finalists.
Cy-Fair High School ended its season with a best-of-three series loss to Houston Bellaire by the scores of 4-2 and 5-3. The Bobcats were District 17-6A’s second seed and bi-district finalists.
Cypress Creek High School ended its season with a 2-0 loss to Houston Heights. The Cougars were District 17-6A’s third seed and bi-district finalists.
