Football postseason continues for Cy-Fair HS in Class 6A area round
Cy-Fair High School senior Owen Carter and the Bobcats defeated Houston Bellaire in a Division I Region III-6A bi-district game. The Bobcats advanced to the area round and will face Katy on Nov. 17 at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium.
Nov. 14, 2023—The Cy-Fair High School football team won its bi-district postseason game Nov. 9 and advanced to the area playoffs.
In the Class 6A Division I playoff bracket, Cy-Fair beat Houston Bellaire, 55-10, on Nov. 9 at Pridgeon Stadium. The Bobcats will face Katy on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium (8877 Barker Cypress Road).
The Bridgeland Bears ended their season as Division I Region II-6A bi-district finalists following a 50-49 loss to Klein Cain on Nov. 10.
The Cypress Ranch Mustangs ended their season as Division I Region II-6A bi-district finalists following a 55-20 loss to Klein Collins on Nov. 10.
The Jersey Village Falcons ended their season as Division I Region III-6A bi-district finalists following a 63-0 loss to Houston Lamar on Nov. 10.
In the Class 6A Division II bracket, the Cypress Falls Golden Eagles ended their season as bi-district finalists following a 32-6 loss to Tomball on Nov. 10.
The Cypress Springs Panthers ended their season as Division II Region II-6A bi-district finalists following a 30-29 loss to Tomball Memorial on Nov. 10.
