Aug. 24, 2023— CFISD students competed at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, June 26-July 1, earning several awards.
Students compete and are recognized for a broad range of business and career-related areas at the local, state and national levels. The FBLA National Leadership Conference is the culmination of students’ hard work from the previous academic year and an opportunity to showcase the skills and knowledge gained in the classroom.
Cypress Ranch High School students Karthik Anne, Vignesh Anne and Karthikekya Gundarapu placed second in the Digital Video Production competition at the FBLA National Leadership Conference.
Bridgeland High School students earned the following awards:
- Kerry Nguyen, Mohith Matapathi and Sri Potta won fourth place in Business Financial Plan;
- Rithika Bakshi and McKenzie Master won fifth place in Publication Design; and
- Shawn Ray won 10th place in Computer Problem Solving.
Cypress Ranch High School students earned the following awards:
- Karthik Anne, Vignesh Anne and Karthikeya Gundarapu placed second in the Digital Video Production competition;
- Siddharth Radhakrishnan placed seventh overall in Coding and Programming; and
- Deivanai Palaniappan placed among the top 15 in Intro to Public Speaking.
