Attendance Information

A signed note from a parent/guardian or doctor note must be received from the student within 3 days to excuse an absence.  A picture of a note is acceptable but the note must have a signature and should be sent after the absence. 

Please have your student bring a signed note to the attendance office between 6:45-7:15 a.m. The note must include:

• the student’s first and last name,
• time to be released,
• parent/guardian signature and
• parent/guardian phone number

Every early release note will be verified with a phone call. Once a note is verified via phone, the student can sign themselves out. The early release note will excuse any absences for that day. 

Please send note with student.  If not possible, a picture of the leave early note can be emailed to the attendance office, but we require at least one hour notice.

For immediate release of your student the Parent/Guardian must come in and sign out the student.  

Walk in Parent Pick up cut off time is 2:20 p.m.

Emergency contacts may NOT pick up a student without the written and verbal permission from the  parent or guardian. 

Students arriving late need to sign in at the attendance office and receive a pass for class. Please send a doctor or signed parent/guardian note to excuse any absences.

If a student arrives to class after the bell, they will be marked TARDY. If a student is more than 10 minutes late to a class, the student is marked ABSENT.

Students are allowed 10 regular field trips per year. State and Regions do NOT count towards the ten. Please contact your coach/sponsor for more info if you qualify. Parents, students and coaches are responsible for tracking field trips since many students are involved in multiple sports and activities during the school year.
