Community Service
Clubs and organizations at BHS are partnering with Rise against Hunger, an international hunger relief organization, for a school-wide community service project. Students will package meals to be sent to the world’s most vulnerable places as part of RAH’s mission to end hunger by 2030.
We cannot launch this mission alone. In order to host a meal packaging event, we must purchase the materials needed to build the meal packets. Each packet only costs $0.29 and our initial goal is to raise $3000 to package more than 10,000 meals.
Part of the mission of Bridgeland High School is to “educate and empower all students to become caring and contributing citizens.” Through this project, students are able to serve other students around the world by providing them with a human’s most basic need - food. By filling their stomachs, we make it more possible for them to attend school which will feed their minds.
If you would like to be involved, please consider donating to our fundraising efforts to help us reach far beyond our goal of 10,000 meals.
Parents of Bridgeland students can donate to the cause through our SchoolCash option. Community members can bring donations to the front office. Thank you for partnering with us as we work together to solve world hunger!
